Samsung’s Galaxy S27 Ultra could weigh 218 grams while remaining 7.9mm thick, according to a report from Universe Ice. That would make the rumored flagship 4 grams heavier than the 214-gram Galaxy S26 Ultra, without changing its claimed thickness.
The small weight increase has renewed speculation about a larger battery. Earlier rumors have suggested a 5,700mAh cell for the S27 Ultra, but neither that capacity nor the phone’s final dimensions have been confirmed by Samsung.
A 5,700mAh battery in a chassis of this thickness could require Samsung to adopt silicon-carbon battery technology, although there is no confirmation that the company plans such a move for this model.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is also rumored to receive a revised rear design featuring a rectangular camera island. Samsung has yet to announce the device, leaving its battery technology and final hardware design among the key details still unresolved.
