One of the most wanted apps on the iPhone was Sling Player, allowing users to watch TV shows and other content on their handsets. Now, the same wish applies to the iPad, with Sling announcing that it’ll offer high resolution streams on device with larger screens, so the Apple tablet is possibly included.

The only problem is that the app won’t be available in time for the iPad’s April launch, but you’ll have to settle with the iPhone version of the software for watching video till then. Sling also claims it wants to move towards H.264 support and it also prepares an Android client for the summer.
