HMD has launched the Vibe 2 Pro 5G in India, positioning the handset above the Vibe2 5G with a 6,000mAh battery, a 120Hz Full HD+ display and a 64MP Sony main camera. Prices start at ₹15,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, while the 8GB/128GB model is priced at ₹17,999.
The phone uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor and has a 6.78-inch LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution. Its rear camera is built around Sony’s IMX682 sensor, joined by a 2MP macro camera, while a 13MP camera handles selfies. HMD ships the device with Android 16, stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

HMD also includes Indus by Sarvam, an AI assistant designed primarily for India that supports more than 22 local languages and can answer questions, draft text and assist with tasks. The handset additionally carries Sanchar Saathi, India’s government-backed telecom and safety-services platform.
The company promises two years of security updates, but has not specified how many major Android version updates the Vibe 2 Pro 5G will receive. That is a notable limitation for a device arriving with Android 16.

As a launch offer, HMD is reducing the 6GB/128GB version to ₹14,999 and the 8GB/128GB variant to ₹16,999. Sales begin October 8 through Flipkart as part of its Big Billion Days campaign. HMD has not announced availability for markets outside India.
