HONOR has confirmed that the OLED display on its upcoming WIN Pad gaming tablet will run at more than 200Hz, positioning the compact device above the 165Hz refresh rate currently offered by Lenovo’s Legion Y700 AI (2026). HONOR has not stated the precise figure, but leaker Digital Chat Station reports a 240Hz panel measuring about 8.4 inches.
The teaser also shows the tablet in landscape orientation with slim bezels, rounded corners and a punch-hole cutout for its front-facing camera. HONOR has previously confirmed the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and an active cooling fan, underscoring the WIN Pad’s gaming-first positioning rather than that of a smaller general-purpose MagicPad.
If the 240Hz claim proves accurate, the WIN Pad would offer 75Hz more than the Legion Y700 AI (2026), which combines an 8.4-inch OLED screen with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. A higher panel refresh rate alone does not guarantee 240fps gameplay: GPU performance, thermal limits and game-level frame-rate caps will remain determining factors. It could still matter in lighter competitive games and titles built to support high frame rates.
Leaked specifications point to a Wi-Fi-focused gaming tablet
Digital Chat Station also says the WIN Pad is expected in black and silver finishes and may not have a 5G version. That remains unconfirmed, as does a reported battery capacity of around 10,000mAh—an unusually large figure for a tablet of this size.
The WIN Pad is expected to arrive in October alongside the HONOR WIN 2 smartphone series. Lenovo’s already-launched Y700 AI retains potential advantages including dual-SIM 5G and microSD expansion, while HONOR has yet to confirm the WIN Pad’s full specifications, pricing or launch availability.
