HONOR will launch the X9e Pro in Malaysia on September 24, bringing an 11,000mAh battery to its midrange X-series lineup. The handset is also expected to support 80W wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging, allowing its large battery to power other devices.
That would mark a substantial capacity increase over the HONOR X9d, which launched with an 8,300mAh battery and 66W wired charging. HONOR is positioning the new model around both endurance and durability.
The company says its Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop 4.0 technology enables the phone to withstand drops from up to 3 meters across 10 types of surface. Leaked details further point to IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, although those certifications have yet to be fully detailed by HONOR.
Other reported hardware includes a display with up to 10,000 nits peak brightness and a circular dual-camera module. The main camera is said to use a 108MP sensor, while the second camera may be an 8MP or 12MP ultrawide unit.
