Sprint is going to join the Windows Phone 7 crowd in 2011, as they announced yesterday, by launching the WP7 handset HTC 7 Pro. This device comes with a pretty unusual format for HTC, since it uses a sliding QWERTY keyboard that tilts, as you can see in the images below.

The specifications aren’t all that impressive, but at least the storage is 16GB. Here’s the full list of features:

CPU: 1GHZ
OS: Windows Phone 7
Memory: 512MB ROM, 576MB RAM, 16GB internal storage
Dimensions: 117.5 x 59 x 15.5mm
Weight: 183.5 grams
Display: 3.6 inch touchscreen, 480 x 800 pixels
Connectivity: RTT, EVDO, 3G, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Camera: 5MP, autofocus, LED flash, 720p HD video recording
Battery: 1500 mAh

Looking forward to learning a price for this handset and maybe a more specific launch date. Here’s a bunch of hands on pics of the HTC 7 Pro from Engadget.
