XDA Developers is, as usual a reliable source concerning upcoming software updates, so we learn that HTC Desire will be receiving the Android 2.2 Froyo update within the next 2 weeks. This confirmation comes from an official source and we learn that version 2.2 will be available over the air.


Said update will bring the latest version of Adobe Flash Player on the handset and resolve a couple of software issues. Last we heard, this update was coming on June 23rd, but “within the next 2 weeks” sure sounds like a delay to us… Let’s see if there’s an unofficial ROM available earlier, though.
