Cricket Wireless is the kind of carrier that usually gives us prepaid handsets with low specs, but now they’ve actually got something pretty hot: the Huawei Glory. This model is priced at $300 and it comes with a 1.4GHz CPU.

The processor is made by Qualcomm and it’s a MSM8655T unit, while the Huawei Glory also comes with some other appealing specs, such as the 4 inch TFT display with 480 x 854 pixel resolution and 8 megapixel camera. Android 2.3 is the OS of choice and the launch of this model will go down in November.

Luckily we’re dealing with a model that keeps the stock Android, except for a bit of tiny customization, in the animation, widgets and app drawer, but that’s tolerable. Huawei even promised an Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for Glory in 2012. Prepaid glory right here!
