Huawei has introduced the Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design, a premium variant derived from the Mate 90 Pro Max that retains its camera hardware while adding a supercar-inspired exterior. The phone has an octagonal camera island and rear lines extending toward its base, with a carbon-fiber-like finish offered in Crimson, Pure White and Jet Black.

Its core hardware includes Huawei’s Kirin 9500 Pro chipset, a 6.9-inch Tandem LTPO OLED display, a 6,800mAh battery, IP69 protection and direct satellite connectivity. Storage reaches 2TB, with all listed models configured with 16GB of RAM.

The rear camera setup matches the Mate 90 Pro Max and includes:

  • A 50MP 1/1.28-inch RYYB main camera with a variable f/1.4 to f/4.0 aperture.
  • A 200MP 1/1.28-inch periscope camera with 4x optical zoom.
  • A 40MP ultrawide camera.

Huawei also lists native support for the separately sold Ruiying Z10 external camera module. Priced at roughly $895, the accessory adds a 50MP, 1-inch RYYB sensor and covers focal lengths from 24mm to 240mm.

The Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design is set to go on sale in China on November 11 in the following configurations:

  • 16GB RAM + 512GB storage: €1,720
  • 16GB RAM + 1TB storage: €1,980
  • 16GB RAM + 2TB storage: €2,510

Huawei has not confirmed availability or pricing outside China, leaving the wider rollout of its most design-focused Mate 90 model unresolved.
