iBall debuted today a new budget smartphone for young people, a model called Cobalt 5.5F Youva, that’s pictured below. It seems to have a soft touch back texture and comes with a price of $132.

This device is available in retail stores in India and it’s a dual SIM unit with Android 5.1 Lollipop running out of the box. Specs include a 5.5 inch HD IPS screen, a 64 bit quad core processor of unknown origin, but clocked at 1 GHz, as well as 2 GB of RAM. We get 16 GB of built in storage, a microSD card slot and a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash.

Cobalt 5.5 Youva offers 4G connectivity, as well as GPRS/EDGE, WiFi, GPS, microUSB, FM radio and Bluetooth. It has a 2.5D curved glass panel and relies on a 2600 mAh battery. iBall claims that this smartphone provides “Video Eye Control”, which is basically a way to put a video on pause, by tracking the user’s eye movements.
