Usually, phones with batteries past the 3000 mAh mark are beasts and have matching prices, but this is not the case of the Intex Aqua Power. This device costs just $136 and comes with a 4000 mAh battery, plus a pretty good CPU.

The product has been launched recently with a 5 inch FWVGA display, as well as a 1.4 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6592M processor. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and relies on an 8 megapixel back camera with LED flash, plus a 2 megapixel front shooter. There’s dual SIM support and 3G connectivity, as well as the promise of 10 or 11 hours of talk time from the huge battery mentioned before.

The same battery offers around 500 hours of standby time. The phone uses an IPS display panel, has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of extra and an extra 32 GB courtesy of the microSD card slot. Intex Aqua Power is a dual SIM handset, with a 9.3 mm waistline and it also brings HSPA+ connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and WiFi. It will come in white, black, blue and grey in India soon.
