We have seen the occasional iPhone 6 leak straight from a Chinese factory or a well known journalist, but when a future retailer of the product does it, there’s trouble. China Telecom, a local Chinese carrier has managed to perform that leak, as shown in the image below.

That image was posted on Weibo by the carrier, showing three color versions of the iPhone 6. The new iPhone is said to come on September 9th, during a special Apple event. The post mentioned before was pulled in the meantime, which may actually be a sign it’s real. Tim Cook is known for his visits in China, that happen every few weeks or so, as he tries to create ties with local companies and gain a bigger foothold in the region.

The Phone 6 will be available unlocked for LTE, WCDMA, CDMA2000, GSM and CDMA1X networks. Interestingly, China Telecom did not sell unlocked versions of the iPhone till now. Lately we’ve also found out that there will be an 128 GB version of the handset, with Toshiba providing the storage, while Hynix and Toshiba will supply the 16 GB storage and Hynix, Toshiba and Sandisk will offer the 64 GB unit storage.

It’s still not clear whether or not the iPhone 6 5.5 incher will arrive on time.
