We’ve already unboxed the iPhone 6S, you know that much, but now it’s time for the iPhone 6S Plus to get some quality time from us. It gets unboxed below and the device was announced earlier this fall, with the iPhone 6S. Priced at $749 and upwards the phablet comes in silver, gold, space gray and rose gold and now let’s see what’s inside the box.
Inside the white and tall box with the device’s picture on the lid we can find manuals, the Lightning cable, charger, metal key and Earpods headphones. The iPhone 6S Plus measures 7.3 mm in thickness, which is 0.2 mm thicker than the iPhone 6 Plus and it’s also 20 grams heavier, at 192 grams. The handset comes in 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB storage versions, brings 2 GB of RAM and a dual core Apple A9 processor.
The screen is a 5.5 inch Full HD unit, like the one of the iPhone 6 Plus, only this time it offers 3D Touch support. This means that varied levels of pressure will trigger various features and functions. The very same screen is slightly curved in the area where it fuses wit the metal and looks great. At the back there’s a 12 megapixel camera, with 4K video capture, OIS and true tone flash, while upfront we’ve got a 5 MP shooter. Touch ID gets a new generation and the battery inside is a 2750 mAh, less than the 2915 mAh of the iPhone 6 Plus.
The metal unibody case is now more resilient and less prone to Bendgate, since it’s made of 7000 Series aluminum. We’ll be back in a giffy with the full review!
