We’re a bit over a month away from the rumored October launch of the iPhone 5, that may debut with yet another new iPhone version, the rumored iPhone 4S. While the iPhone 5 is expected to be a dual core revamp and an overall new handset, the iPhone 4S is only seen as a minor improvement. Thus, what we have here in the pics below are supposed parts of this improved device.

Known as the N94 iPhone prototype, the smartphone has been detailed by the guys of uBreakiFix and this is certainly not the first time I’ve heard about the N94. Some say it could be a cheaper version of the iPhone 4, maybe that 8GB unit we’re heard Reuters detailing a week ago. The different between the supposed 4S and the iPhone 4 is the dot next to the sensor location above the earpiece. This looks like a webcam LED indicator on Mac computers, so it could be a sign of the nearby camera.

There’s another prototype out there, one that’s known as the N97 and it’s basically a tinier iPhone, so a nano version is not out of the count right now. While the N94 was known from back in March, the N97 is still pretty much a mystery, although Wall Street Journal is reporting it’s a smaller iPhone reaching Design Verification Test stage. Will we see both an iPhone 4S and nano this year to justify the delay of the iPhone 5?
