The iPhone SE is extremely easy to confuse with the iPhone 5s and even with the iPhone 5, if you’re not paying enough attention to what you’re handling. We got the handset for testing purposes and we unboxed it below. It’s priced at $399 and you can get it here.

This model comes inside a tall box, taller than the one of the iPhone 5 for example. Inside is the usual affair: a big charger, Lightning-USB cable, Earpods headphones, manual, stickers and metal key used to access the nano SIM card slot. We are testing the 16 GB model, but there’s also 64 GB version out there. iPhone SE has the very same measurements and looks as the iPhone 5s and our test unit comes in rose gold.

You can purchase the device in Space Gray, Silver, Gold or Rose Gold. There’s a 12 megapixel back camera with 4K video capture and Live Photos support, while upfront rests a 4 inch screen, with the same 640 x 1136 pixel resolution as the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. Specs include 2 GB of RAM and an Apple A9 CPU, plus a 1624 mAh battery.

Setup went on pretty fast (reasonably fast, till we got the WiFi code right) and it was all smooth sailing from then. We’re testing the phone right now and we’ll be back with impressions soon. You can find the updated price here.
