Lava has a new smartphone out there, the X38 model, that’s priced below $100 and offers a 5 inch HD screen, as well as a 4000 mAh battery. This model is exclusively up for purchase via the India Times shopping site.
Available in black and blue, the handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 5 inch HD screen, while inside we find a quad core CPU clocked at 1 GHz, plus 1 GB of RAM. There’s a dual SIM setup here, 4G LTE support and 3G HSPA+, plus Bluetooth, WiFi and microUSB. Lava offers 8 GB of internal storage, expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot.
One of the core points of the device is its 4000 mAh battery, that should provide over one day of usage. As far as the camera goes, there’s an 8 megapixel autofocus unit here, with LED flash and upfront a 2 MP shooter for selfies. Lava is a very prolific Indian company, with a ton of Android models in its portofolio, most of them affordable.
