Lenovo has just tackled a segment that’s been ignored by many device makers over the past year: the music phone. They’ve debuted a handset dubbed RocStar in India and this device is a KitKat handset that’s destined for music lovers.

It comes with Dolby Digital Plus technology used on a speaker that gives you a immersive media experience. There’s also the bundled Guvera music app, that allows you to search and create playlists from over 10 million songs, that can be shared with friends. As far as specs go, the Lenovo RocStar comes with a 4 inch 800 x 480 pixel screen, a 1.3 GHz dual core MediaTek MT6572 CPU, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage.

There’s a microSD card slot on board, but rather limited since it only supports 8 GB of expansion. The phone uses a 1500 mAh battery, that should provide up to 10 hours of music playback, up to 3.5 hours of calling and around 10 days of standby time on 3G networks. As far as the camera is concerned, we get a 5 megapixel fixed focus main cam, with LED flash and a front 2 MP shooter.

This one is a dual SIM model priced at $106.
