After spotting the Lenovo Vibe X2 in a leak yesterday, today we learn that the model has been certified for European release. It has been certified for WiFi usage (under the Lenovo X2-EU codename) and it’s listed with Android 4.4.2 on board and a dual core 2.2 GHz processor.

It also has a 5 inch Full HD screen mentioned, just like the previous leak and it packs 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The design of the phone is said to be very similar to the one of the Xperias and you can figure that out easily, just by looking at the picture above. Lenovo Vibe X2 is expected to debut next week, during an announcement at IFA 2014. In case you’re wondering what the deal is with that dual core CPU, know that it’s an Intel chip, but there’s also a secondary version of the phone, based on an octa core new gen MediaTek.

Camera-wise, we get a 13 MP back shooter with LED flash and a 5 MP selfie cam. The battery is a 2250 mAh unit and I have to say that I find the variety of colors on the side of the phone very interesting, since there are about 3 colored stripes to the side here. Also the screen bezel seems to be minimal, so we’re in for a treat it seems.
