Meizu has debuted a new localized site, one for the German market, where you can find the Meizu MX4 flagship detailed and listed for sale. Sadly, the site is in its early days and I can’t seem to find any price for the product.

pre-header

I’ll remind you that the MX4 debuted on September 2nd in China, priced even below $300 at first, for the 16 GB version. The 64 GB one reaches $390 and in Europe I expect a price tag around 400 euros for this device. It stands out through a 5.36 inch Full HD 1920 x 1152 display, a 3100 mAh battery and a 75.5% screen to body ratio, meaning it has very narrow edges. The handset also comes with a 20.7 megapixel Sony Exmor RS camera and a 2 MP front shooter.

It relies on the MediaTek MT6595 octa core processor, that achieved very strong benchmark results on this model. The German Meizu website also has a forum, that already hosts hundreds of topics and they also have a detailed features page for Flyme OS 4.0, the custom Android UI on this device, that adopts a very minimalistic look. I should also say that the Meizu MX4 has an aluminum chassis that’s 8.9 mm thick…

Meizu has come a long way since cloning iPhones, I have to say.
