Just as expected, the Meizu MX6 was announced today, thus becoming official after a long series of speculations and rumors. The device is pictured below and has the exact same hardware feats we were expecting.



We’re dealing here with an upper midrange device, with 4 GB of RAM and a deca core chip from MediaTek. The design is identical to the one of the Meizu Pro 6, as anticipated and that’ll probably lead to some confusion within the company’s portofolio.


Priced at $300, the device gets the following specs:

  • CPU: MediaTek Helio X20, 10 core
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • Storage: 32 GB

This models runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Flyme OS 5.2 on top and measures only 7.25 mm in thickness. It has a metal case and it’ll come with several dedicated accessories, like a cover case pricd at $15, as well as a Bluetooth speaker at $60.
