MobLand Season 2 introduces a new adversary for Tom Hardy’s Harry Da Souza: Kat McAllister, whose campaign against the Harrigan family centers on turning its members against one another. The season is set to premiere on SkyShowtime on September 21, with a third season already confirmed ahead of the launch.
Hardy returns as Harry, the fixer working for the British-Irish Harrigan crime family. Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren also return as family leaders Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, while the power struggle extends across members including Kevin, Seraphina and Bella Harrigan.
Johnny Flynn joins the conflict as Frankie Cooper, a volatile but calculating figure working within Kat’s wider plan. The character was reportedly inspired by Oasis brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, bringing a distinctly British, confrontational energy to the season’s criminal maneuvering.
The new episodes continue the series’ mix of organized-crime intrigue and high-impact action, including explosions, car chases, break-ins and violent confrontations. Harry’s increasing involvement with police matters and his network of informants also become a larger part of the story.
Season 2 also keeps Harry’s strained family life in view, though his relationship with his wife and the troubles involving their daughter take a less central role than the escalating battle around the Harrigans. With Season 3 now confirmed, the unresolved consequences of Kat and Frankie’s moves are likely to carry beyond the new run.
