Neken N6 is a new quad core Full HD phone packing a 1.5 GHz MediaTek processor and the device is the one pictured below, but what interests us is a hardware feature of the model. It has been recently upgraded with an interesting spec.

This model, plus two more from Asia, Mlais MX58 and UMi X2 have all been updated to the latest Turbo spec. This means that they upgraded to a 1.5 GHz MTMT6589T processor with faster GPU. Neken will launch the N6 model with Basic of Advanced specs and it will come with either 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM or 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM.

There’s also an IPS 1080p screen packed here with a 5 inch diagonal, a 13 megapixel camera, 5 megapixel front shooter and the price tag expected is around $195. Any chance for such a model to ever make it out of China? Any chance for regular handsets to get hardware upgrades?
