The North American public is finally getting some love from Nokia, through the announcement of Nokia Mural, an affordable phone with nice looks and medium level specs. The handset should hit AT&T in the following days, with 3G and HSDPA connectivity supported.

Mural debuts on September 6 in AT&T retail stores and online, coming with a $49.99 price tag and a 2 year contract after a $50 mail in rebate. The new Nokia phone packs a 2.2 inch QVGA screen, up to 16GB of expandable memory, a 2 megapixel camera, email and instant messaging, a pretty big keypad and social networking features.

External music keys will make audio playback a breeze and the ergonomic design will tempt all youths. The device also comes with all the famous AT&T services (Mobile Music, Navigator, Video Share and more).
