We’ve recently received the Nokia N8 12 megapixel smartphone and thought it was nice to share the unboxing experience with you. A full video review will follow in the next days, so keep reading our posts. The N8 is a pretty nice machine, as far as hardware is concerned, although you’ll have some problem with taking the SIM and microSD slot covers off, if you don’t have long fingernails.

The industrial design is great and lots of thought was put into it, but Symbian^3… well, it’s not exactly what we had in mind after playing with Windows Phone 7 and Android 2.3 devices. Inside the case there’s nothing spectacular, the usual charger, HDMI cable, USB cable, headset and manuals.

Unlike the usual more rectangular phone boxes, Nokia chose to deliver the N8 in something that reminds us of a take-out food package. At least it’s easy to open…
