Strangely enough, after finding out that the brand new Nokia N9 MeeGo phone will launch in Sweden (at least), it seems that some major nations will be deprived of this model. There were rumors about a September release in Sweden already, while other countries on the list include Romania, Singapore, Slovenia, UAE, Vietnam, Australia, Austria and many more.

Finland and China are on the list, too, as well as Portugal and Poland… Well, maybe the fact that Nokia closed down its UK online shop has something to do with the lack of an announcements date? France, Germany and the United Kingdom are very important European markets, but Nokia’s strategy here seems obvious: they’ll release the first Windows Phone in western countries, while the others feast on MeeGo.

Still, I bet that some people are really excited about the N9 in the West, too. What about them?
