Recently there have been rumors that the Nubia brand is going to get new models in its portofolio, but that didn’t happen on January 5th as rumored. Instead it will happen on the 18th, judging by a series of fresh leaks and a teaser shown below.

Turns out that the Nubia X8 is coming, complete with a metal gold body and a fingerprint scanner at the back. The handset has an all metal body and is expected to sport a 6.44 inch diagonal, like its predecessor, the Nubia X6. The resolution will this time be bumped up to Quad HD and we’ll get a Snapdragon 820 processor inside, according to the same source.

The bezels of the device seem very slim and this flagship is surely going to be heavily specced on the acoustic and camera side of things. It also looks pretty slim, considering the tech it incorporates. Keep in mind that its debut is scheduled for January 18th.  For those of you wondering, yes Nubia still belongs to ZTE.
