Italy’s first tablet is the Olivetti OliPad 100, the device you can see below in action. The product is taken outside the box, for us all to see. We’re dealing with a 10 inch slate, that runs Android 2.2 Froyo, uses an integrated webcam, WiFi and Bluetooth.

Olivetti OliPad 100 also comes with an USB port, an SD card slot and supports Full HD playback. The real goodies are under the hood, since the tablet relies on an ARM Cortex A9 dual core processor for running Android and we hope that a Honeycomb update is also scheduled for the future. The UI on this device is intuitive and optimized, according to the testers.

The OliPad 100 will retail for 394 EUR and it’s compatible with accessories like a docking station.
