OnePlus has begun teasing the N6 Lite, a new entry-level phone that appears set to expand its N6 lineup. The official teaser shows a flat display with a small centered punch-hole cutout for a single selfie camera.

A launch could take place later this month, according to a tipster, but OnePlus has yet to confirm a date. The N6 Lite is rumored to carry 4GB of RAM and may be limited to 4G connectivity, a combination that would position it as a lower-cost model.

The device is expected to share much of its hardware approach with the OnePlus N6x. That model has a 6.8-inch display, microSD card expansion, 4GB of RAM and a 7,000mAh battery, alongside a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Both cameras are limited to Full HD video recording.

OnePlus has not confirmed the N6 Lite's full specifications, markets or pricing. Those details, along with whether the N6 Lite retains the N6x's large battery, should become clearer when the company formally announces the handset.
