Launched a few hours ago, the new Oppo R5 is definitely one of the most interesting devices of 2014, mostly because it’s the world’s slimmest phone with its 4.85 mm thickness. After the launch event that took place in Singapore, the guys from mobilegeeks.de managed to get their hands on the phone letting us see a first video hands-on.

As we found out, the Oppo R5 brings a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a quad-core Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz (64-bit), 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB space of internal storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera that can record in 4K, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2.000 mAh battery with VOOC quick charging technology.

Being so slim, the phone doesn’t bring a 3.5-mm audio jack, leaving us only two options, we’ll either get a bluetooth headset or a microUSB to 3.5-mm audio adapter. What do you think about this new phone?
