POCO is pushing its large-battery phone lineup to a new level with a 10,000mAh cell. POCO X8 Power 5G is due to launch on September 4 with that battery and a claimed 3.5 days of use.
POCO India has posted the teaser, which also shows the handset in a bright yellow finish. The company says it is the largest battery ever fitted to a POCO phone. It will support 100W wired charging and double as a power bank through 27W reverse charging. Its specifications suggest it may be a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.
Other teasers list a 6.83-inch display with up to 3,500 nits of peak HDR brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The phone is rated IP68 and IP69K for water and dust resistance. Its camera system includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 32MP selfie camera. POCO promises four years of Android updates, while Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 powers the device.
POCO is also developing a lighter model, the POCO X8 5G, with a 9,000mAh battery.
