The REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ has appeared in Geekbench ahead of its October 15 unveiling, posting 3,677 points in the single-core test and 12,679 points in the multi-core test. The result offers an early indication of the gaming phone’s CPU performance, although it comes from a prototype rather than a retail device.
The tested unit ran Geekbench 7.1.0 with 16GB of RAM, Android 17 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. The multi-core result is higher than scores seen in earlier appearances of the handset.

REDMAGIC has room to pursue aggressive performance tuning because its gaming phones use active fan cooling alongside their internal heat-management systems. The company previously combined an internal fan and liquid cooling on the REDMAGIC 11S Pro, a design approach intended to sustain higher loads than conventional flagship phones can comfortably manage.
Still, a Geekbench run is a short CPU-focused benchmark and cannot show how the phone will behave after 30 or 60 minutes of gaming, when heat from the chipset, battery and chassis becomes more consequential. It also cannot be used to predict an AnTuTu ranking, since AnTuTu evaluates CPU, GPU, memory and UX performance together.

The handset should not be folded into AnTuTu’s September rankings. It is due to be announced on October 15, while AnTuTu requires at least 1,000 valid results in a month before a model can enter its charts. Final display, battery and cooling specifications remain to be confirmed at the launch, along with the first evidence of sustained performance.
