Roborock’s Qrevo Edge 2 Flow takes a more aggressive approach to robot mopping: its 270mm SpiraFlow 2.0 roller is continuously supplied with clean water through 16 outlets while it cleans. Combined with a 35,000Pa HyperForce digital motor, the robot delivered strong floor and carpet cleaning in testing, including on spilled milk, coffee and mud, without visible water marks or sticky residue left behind.

The model, introduced at IFA 2026, is Roborock’s first robot vacuum with a roller-style mop rather than twin rotating pads. Its main advantage is the ability to refresh the roller during a run instead of carrying collected dirt across subsequent areas. The roller spins at 240rpm, applies 15N of pressure, and can extend by up to 44mm to clean to within less than 10mm of edges.

On carpets, the roller mop lifts by 15mm under an automatic shield. The robot offers carpet-priority cleaning, suction boost on carpet detection, deep cross-pattern cleaning and an option intended to avoid dragging hair and debris along carpet edges. Its Dual Anti-Tangle main brush is rated for zero hair tangling, while one of the two side brushes reverses direction to pull debris from corners toward the suction path.

Hardware and dock

  • SpiraFlow 2.0 mop: 270mm roller, 240rpm, 15N pressure, 16 clean-water outlets and up to 44mm of edge extension.
  • Suction: 35,000Pa HyperForce digital motor.
  • Navigation: RetractSense system with 360-degree LiDAR when raised and 100-degree LiDAR when lowered.
  • Obstacle recognition: Reactive AI, rated to identify more than 280 object types measuring at least 3 x 3cm.
  • Dimensions: robot measures 352 x 353 x 89.8mm; dock measures 402 x 470 x 451mm.
  • Dock functions: automatic dust emptying, roller washing, dirt sensing for re-washing and drying at 63 degrees Celsius.

The retractable LiDAR is central to the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow’s design. At 89.8mm tall, it can slip beneath furniture that would block taller robot vacuums, while the raised sensor supports broader navigation coverage. The dock separates clean and dirty water, and Roborock says its pressurized self-cleaning setup provides a 99.99% bacterial-removal rate during washing. The dust bag is rated for up to 65 days before it needs emptying.

There are some practical limitations. The dock does not support detergent cleaning, and the robot has no dedicated mop-only mode; mopping is tied to a cleaning workflow that includes vacuuming. That approach is intended to keep the roller clear of loose debris before it reaches the floor.

App controls and smart-home support

Setup uses the Roborock app, available for iOS and Android, via a QR code beneath the front cover. After filling the clean-water tank, the robot can quickly map a home; clearing objects and cables from the floor and opening interior doors beforehand is recommended. The app supports room and zone cleaning, no-go areas, floor-type settings, furniture and carpet edits, cleaning schedules and multi-floor map management.

Available cleaning modes include vacuum then mop, vacuum and mop, and vacuuming alone. Suction levels range from Quiet to MAX+, while users can set one or two cleaning passes and select fast, standard or intensive routes. The robot also supports Matter connectivity and integration with Alexa, Siri and Google Home, alongside a built-in voice assistant, real-time video and video-call features, remote control and a pet mode.

The Qrevo Edge 2 Flow’s combination of high claimed suction, roller-mop cleaning and a low-profile retractable LiDAR design makes it a technically ambitious entry in Roborock’s Qrevo range. International pricing and market-by-market availability were not confirmed in the reviewed material.
