Samsung has just announced that it’ll launch two new touchscreen phones, meant for the European market – S5600 and S5230. The fist will hit the market in May, while the other device will reach a store near you in April.

Samsung S5600 is a slim device that packs a 2.8 inches TFT display (240 x 320 pixels), FM radio with RDS, DNSe, a 3 megapixel camera with video recording support @ 15 fps and TouchWiz UI with Mobile widget. The phone supports HSDPA 7.2 Mbps (900/2100 MHz), EDGE/GPRS quad band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity, plus Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0. S5600’s internal memory is 80MB, but you can expand it with the aid of microSDHC cards.

Samsung S5230 supports EDGE/GPRS quad band connectivity, packs a 3 inch WQVGA LCD display (240 x 400 pixels), a 3 megapixel camera with QVGA video recording and FM radio with RDS, DNSe. There’s also a music recognition feature on board, plus gesture lock, handwriting support, TouchWiz UI, Google Search/email, 50MB of internal memory and a microSDHC slot.
