I remember that a few months ago Apple threatened all companies that make cases and phone accessories with a ban from their stores if they keep showing off renders of unannounced products. Measurements were also not allowed to get published. It appears that other firms aren’t taking the same approach and Samsung couldn’t care less about the avalance of leaks regarding its Galaxy Note 5. And that’s how we get renders like these:

Verus, a reputed case maker has published a very ample gallery of renders showing future cases for the new phablet. I have to admit they look quite hot and the device looks exactly like in the last leaks. Verus also has a good reputation, since their cases leaked ahead of the Galaxy S6 launch were spot on with the design. The Galaxy Note 5 shown here is pretty similar to the Galaxy S6.

The new Note does seem a bit slimmer on the sides and more thick on the top and bottom. Maybe that’s the fault of the S Pen slot integrated within a side. One of the mics has now been moved to the left side of the bottom facing speaker grille. Strangely the infrared emitter is nowhere to be found at the top. Other than that, the button placement, cameras, heart rate sensor, Home button and flash are just like on the Galaxy S6.

I’m guessing Verus used the CAD files leaked on the web recently.
