Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has leaked in everything but hands on pictures and videos so far, but today we get a very interesting piece of leak, as the device gets a launch date. It’s expected to pop up on August 2nd, if the image below is any indication.

Interestingly, the launch event will go down in New York, at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York. There are special curved lines in the image that seem to point towards the figure “7” suggesting the name of the device is indeed Note 7. There’s also the tagline “The next edge is just around the corner”, which may hint at the device’s curved edge.

The new flagship is rumored to pack a 5.8 inch Quad HD curved edge display, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor and an Exynos equivalent, plus an iris scanner and IP68 certified water resistant body. An USB Type C port should also make the cut, being overdue on mainstream Samsung devices, plus a 4000 mAh batttery.
