Samsung has just announced the very hot Galaxy S handset, also dubbed SHW-M110S in the version that should reach South Korea. The device is expected to ship in two months and it’ll be available locally via SKT. The specs are similar to the international version, with an extra being T-DMB support and SKT’s T Store compatibility.

Samsung Galaxy S can also get its apps from Android Store and Samsung Apps and other extras for the South Korean market include the Kyobo e-book and an augmented reality app. This handset measures 9.9mm and uses a 1GHz S5PC111 CPU, a 4 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display and it’s famous for its video processing power, one third of the power of a PS3 console.

Android OS is also on board, together with WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0, 16GB of internal memory, DivX support, a microSD card slot and a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. Beneath the shell you’ll also find a 1500mAh battery.
