Samsung’s Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra have appeared in China’s 3C certification database with support for up to 60W wired charging. The filings suggest Samsung may extend its faster flagship charging tier beyond the Ultra model for the next Galaxy S generation.
The certified devices carry model numbers SM-S9570 and SM-S9580. Information associated with the GSMA IMEI database identifies them as the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra, respectively. Both are listed with a maximum 60W wired charging capability.
The Galaxy S27 Pro name would mark the first use of the “Pro” suffix in Samsung’s Galaxy S flagship line. More significantly, it could give the model the same charging ceiling as the Ultra, following the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s move beyond Samsung’s long-standing 45W maximum to 60W.

Other models in the S27 family appear set to remain more conservative. Earlier 3C entries for the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ reportedly point to 25W wired charging for the standard handset and 45W for the Plus variant.
The timing of the certifications is also notable. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series reportedly entered the 3C database in January 2026 before launching in March, whereas filings for the full S27 lineup have emerged in September. That does not confirm an earlier launch, but it leaves open the possibility of a return to a January 2027 Galaxy S announcement. Samsung has yet to confirm the S27 lineup, its charging specifications, or a launch schedule.
