Samsung may further separate its next book-style foldables through their camera hardware. A leak from X user WalleGalaxy claims the standard Galaxy Z Fold9 will keep a dual-camera rear system, with a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The rumored model would not include a dedicated telephoto lens.
The Galaxy Z Fold9 Ultra is said to receive a more substantial imaging package, including a new 200MP primary sensor. Its reported configuration includes:
- A 200MP main camera
- A 50MP ultra-wide camera
- A telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom

The leak does not specify the resolution of the Ultra’s telephoto sensor. That remains a key open question, particularly because the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra reportedly used a 10MP zoom camera.
Separate reports indicate Samsung is also considering a wider foldable lineup for 2027. Possibilities reportedly include an oversized Ultra or Plus model, or a lower-cost Fan Edition positioned below the €1,800–€1,900 range. These plans, along with the Fold9 camera details, remain unconfirmed and could change before launch.
