Today, the mobile operator NTT DoCoMo announced a new smartphone device in Japan, more precisely the AQUOS SH-M02. This one comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and in terms of specs we’re looking at an mid-range device.

Sharp SH-M02 comes with a 5-inch HD LCD display (1280 x 720 pixels), and packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM memory and 16 GB space of internal storage available + microSD. The phone offers a 2.1 megapixel front-facing sensor and a 13.1-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.

We get 4G LTE Cat.4 connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, infrared port and a nano-SIM slot. Sharp Aquos SH-02 also packs IP5X/7 water and dust proof certification. It weighs around 145 grams and it measures 134 mm in length, 71 mm in width and 9.9 mm in thickness. According to NTT DoCoMo, this smartphone will be priced at $324.
