Sony Ericsson has just announced T715, a sophisticated slider phone, that’s also compact and comes with a large keypad and MMS, SMS and email management. T715 uses a smart desktop feature and reminders, both of birthdays (with special animations) and global events.

Sony Ericsson T715 comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera with up to 3.2x digital zoom, photo fix, send to web and video recording, plus Bluetooth Stereo A2DP, Mega Bass, PlayNow and TrackID. There’s also a speakerphone on board, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support, 3D Games, FM radio with RDS and video streaming.

The new handset measures 91.5 x 48 x 14.9mm, weighs 96.5 grams and incorporates a 2.2 inches TFT QVGA screen with a 240 x 320 pixels resolution and up to 90MB of internal memory. The storage space can be increased with the aid of microSD cards and the battery of the handset lasts up to 10 hours in GSM/GPRS talk mode, or 400 hours in GSM/GPRS standby mode.

Expect the phone to hit international markets in Q3 2009 and here’s a short promo video of T715:
