I’m surprised by how good the XLife phone series looks, judging by the picture below and considering the starting price is below $50. Spice Mobiles announced this new series today, including 4 handset models.

The products are targeted towards first time buyers and there’s 4 of them available: XLife 404, Xlife 431q, Xlife 431q Lite and XLife 512. Prices go from $47 to $70 and the XLife 431q comes with a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, a 1750 mAh battery, a 5 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, as well as a 1.3 megapixel front camera.

The Lite version of the same handset relies on a quad core 1.2 GHz CPU as well and also brings 512 MB of RAM in the mix, 4 GB of ROM and a 3.2 megapixel back camera, plus a 1.3 MP front shooter. The XLife 404 offers dual SIM slots, 3G connectivity, a 1450 mAh battery and it comes in 3 colors: wine red, champagne gold and ivory white. XLife 512 brings a 1 GHz dual core CPU, an 8 megapixel main camera and dual LED flash, plus a 2000 mAh battery.
