UGREEN has entered the smart-speaker market with the UGREEN Smart Speaker, a HomeAgent ecosystem device that uses the company’s Uliya AI assistant for voice control of Matter-compatible smart-home hardware. The speaker was introduced at IFA 2026 and is expected to be priced at $69 in the US.
Beyond music playback, Uliya can respond to requests and operate connected lights, curtains and other Matter-enabled equipment. The speaker supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, while management is also available through the UGREEN NAS app.
The compact, rounded speaker has a perforated acoustic grille and an RGB light strip around its lower edge. Its audio system uses three drivers, and two speakers can be paired through TWS for stereo playback. UGREEN has not disclosed the system’s total output power.
Four microphones are built in for picking up voice commands from a distance. Connected to the HomeAgent HA100, the speaker can also act as an output for locally processed AI notifications, such as alerts triggered by the detection of a baby crying or a package arriving.
UGREEN positions HomeAgent as a local-first smart-home platform, with a significant portion of AI processing and data storage remaining inside the home. Final retail and availability details for the speaker remain dependent on the progress of the HomeAgent crowdfunding campaign.
