Nokia’s luxury division, Vertu recently leaked info about a new handset, the Vertu Ascent X model. The device is pictured below and it has recently been approved by the FCC, while the info we have about it was made available courtesy of Bluetooth SIG.

This new Vertu model packs a 2 inch QVGA display, Bluetooth, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, 32GB of internal memory and A-GPS. Email is also supported on the handset, as well as quad band GSM connectivity and quad band UMTS/HSUPA, making this a global phone.

No info on the phone’s price or launch date yet.
