As the Xiaomi Mi 5 leaks continue, fresh after seeing it in a benchmark, we also catch a glimpse at its back side. In this case we’re talking about a glass panel, that has been pictured in two shots below, seemingly taken at factory level.

The Snapdragon 820-based smartphone will debut on February 24th, with a Full HD 5.7 inch screen and dual SIM slots. In spite of the rumors saying it may get a full metal chassis, it seems that at least one of its versions will have a glass back. The other glass panel, the front one will rely on a 2.5D sheet, for a more edge to edge look.

Xiaomi Mi 5 has a very interesting pattern applied to this back glass panel. It feels like crisscrossing lines, that make it look and feel metallic, or maybe like one of those middle school notebook covers. Expect to see a generous 3600 mAh battery inside and a 16 megapixel back camera with OIS, that has a pretty small hole within the back panel in my view.

Also the flash seems to have been placed on the opposite side compared to previous leaks…
