I’m talking about the quad core 1.5 GHz Leadcore L1860C chipset, instead of the Snapdragon 410 64 bit unit. Other specs remain pretty much the same, including the 8 megapixel main camera with LED, the dual SIM slots and 4G LTE support. There’s also Android 4.4 KitKat on board with MIUI 6 on top and the device packs a 4.7 inch HD IPS display.

We’ve got 1 GB of RAM inside, 8 GB of storage and on the connectivity side there’s both Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Inside the handset rests a 2200 mAh battery. Xiaomi Redmi 2A will be available in white, dark gray, bright yellow, light green and pink and its price tag will be a very affordable $97. There will be a special price reduction on April 8th, making it just $80.
