Xiaomi is well known around the world thanks to its Redmi line of smartphones, range that includes cheap phablets as well as compact devices with interesting specs. Starting today, in Xiaomi’s portfolio we have another smartphone device that offers a 5-inch display, phone called Xiaomi Redmi 3 and pictured down below.
Among its specs we find a panel with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB space of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card slot. Its specs list continues with a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus + LED flash, and with the 5-megapixel front-facing unit that sounds great for selfie captures.
Even if its hardware packaged doesn’t look so outstanding, Xiaomi Redmi 3 remains a great phone thanks to its 4.100 mAh battery that promises a few days of autonomy from start. As for the design, we notice a pretty regular phone, one that comes with metallic frame and with a special texture applied on the rear cover.
At the same time, the price is also a strength. In China, Xiaomi will start selling this phone for just $105, price tag that will definitely attract a lot of people. Taking in consideration the fact that Chinese retailers are bringing new devices very quickly, we expect to see the Xiaomi Redmi 3 on sale in just a couple of days.
