The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has been leaking ever since the end of 2017, or actually even last fall. Now it’s back with more clear renders, that are basically concepts, considering their source is Targetyoutube, known more for concept phones, than actual real devices.

We’re dealing with an all aluminum design here, with a screen that has a narrow bezel. There’s a dual back camera and some pretty clear influences drawn from the Xiaomi Mi MIX, maybe even the Galaxy S8. We’ve got an 18:9 aspect screen in the mix, that even cuts down on the top and bottom bezel. There’s a fingerprint scanner at the back and we are shown 3 color versions here: silver, black and blue.

According to leaks, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is expected to arrive in two versions of RAM and storage, 3 or 4 GB RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage. It should have an IPS LCD display with a 5.99 inch diagonal and a Full HD+ resolution. There should also be a Snapdragon 636 CPU in the mix, plus a microSD card slot. At the back we may find a combo of 16 megapixel camera with a 5 MP depth sensor, for DSLR-style effects.

A price of around $237 is being thrown around for this device, which may just be able to come to MWC 2018, where Xiaomi has a booth and it’s said to be bringing the Mi MIX 2S.
