Xiaomi has introduced the Smart Doorbell 4 Pro Dual Camera Edition in China, pairing a 5MP camera aimed at visitors with a 2MP secondary camera directed toward the ground to watch for delivered packages. Xiaomi says both cameras have a diagonal field of view exceeding 150 degrees.

  • A 9,800mAh battery rated for up to 172 days per charge, based on 20 motion-triggered recordings of 10 seconds each per day.
  • Two PIR sensors with 180-degree horizontal coverage and a detection range of up to 5 meters; sensitivity can be adjusted in the Mi Home app.
  • 940nm infrared night vision, designed to record in darkness without the visible red glow used by some surveillance cameras.
  • Recognition for people, pets and packages, plus cloud-based facial recognition, voice changing during calls and customizable voice responses.

The doorbell supports microSD cards up to 256GB and includes 72 hours of free cloud storage with automatic overwriting. Xiaomi says data is protected with AES-128 encryption and a dedicated Mi Home security chip.
