Xreal has announced the 1 Pro+, a new pair of AR glasses that can convert 2D video into 3D directly on its integrated X1 processor, with 3D playback supported at up to 60 FPS. The glasses are priced at $599 and use Sound by Bose audio technology.

The 1 Pro+ uses two 0.55-inch Sony Micro-OLED displays, each with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. Its 57-degree field of view matches the Xreal 1 Pro, while the newer model adds AI-based HDR optimization and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits.

Xreal includes three viewing presets intended for different types of content:

  • Standard mode
  • Gaming mode
  • Reading mode

The virtual screen can be fixed in a position within 3D space rather than following head movements. Other comfort and viewing adjustments include:

  • Adjustable electrochromic dimming lenses
  • Optical adjustments for image alignment
  • A redesigned nose pad

The glasses connect over USB-C using DisplayPort Alt Mode. Xreal lists the following device categories as compatible when they support that connection standard:

  • Laptops with DisplayPort Alt Mode support
  • Phones with DisplayPort Alt Mode support
  • Game consoles with DisplayPort Alt Mode support
  • Drones with DisplayPort Alt Mode support

Orders through Xreal’s website are scheduled to open on October 15, 2026. Xreal says the 1 Pro+ will also be available to order through its official Amazon store from October 29, 2026.
