I never imagined a flagship like the HTC One M8 would be cloned by a device that costs more than 10 times less. The product comes from the company Cosmic Technologies in the Philippines and it’s named Cherry Mobile Spin.

It’s a total clone of the One M8 and it runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It relies on a dual core 1.3 GHz processor, but the diagonal is much smaller than the one of the most recent HTC flagship, at 3.5 inches. The screen is a 320 x 480 pixel LCD and we also get a 2 MP back camera, as well as a VGA front shooter. This one is a GSM model, with dual SIM card slots and Bluetooth 3.0 support. There’s also WiFi, 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of storage.

One can only hope there’s a microSD card slot in the mix as well. The battery is a 1400 mAh unit and once again, the price is a mind blowing $37. Ironically, there are 3 speakers or speaker holes on this model, so on paper its acoustics are killer, but in real life I guess that…not so much.
